This fits our family perfectly as Chelsea calls her grandparents on my side of the family Nana and Papa. Plus we go camping every year. Chelsea really loves reading about the adventures these 2 kids have with their grandparents and it reminds her of the times that she has with her grandparents. We really thought it was cute that the book also comes with a cute little stuffed animal firefly. Chelsea has been carrying it around with her everywhere lately.
“The Adventures of Camp Nana Papa” is the first in a series of children’s picture books celebrating the special bond between grandchildren and their grandparents. It tells the story of two children, Nick and Sarah, and their friend Flash the Firefly™ enjoying a fun-filled weekend at their grandparents’ home – lovingly called Camp Nana Papa.
“The Adventures of Camp Nana Papa” is more than just a story,” said Melissa Berry, community business development manager for Barnes & Noble. “Camp Nana Papa is a special place for grandparents to build and share memories. The delightful illustrations and the lovable characters will charm readers of all ages.”
The hardback book brings Nick’s, Sarah’s, and Flash’s adventures to life, as they swim, run and play, go to the zoo, roast marshmallows and more. It also includes six keepsake pages to personalize and preserve special memories for each grandchild. The book retails for $17.99 and the second book in the series is expected later this year.
