Family game night has always been a big part of my family so games are almost a necessity every holiday season. We have a large collection of games and try to keep up with the times. There always seems to be new games coming out and even ones that may have been around for many years but I had never seen or heard about. Winning Moves Games is a company that I always look at. They have many of the games that I have grown to love and enjoy dearly.
Upwords is a game that I have played for many years. I really enjoy that it is similar to scrabble but you have many advantages to this game. I love that you can create a word and the next player can literally change it into something else on the next turn by placing a tile over one of yours. Some times that is your only possible move. I definitely recommend this game for all families.
Moose Caboose is a great game for little ones to learn how to match their colors. My daughter really enjoys playing this game. We have already played it several times and she keeps asking to play it more. It says its for age 6 or older but my 3 year old really seems to get a kick out of it.
Water Works I used to play a similar game to this on the computer and always had a blast. I love that it is like a puzzle as well as a card game. You have to build the water pipes from the top to bottom you water pipe won’t be as simple as 2 cards it will be many twists and turns. So much laughter and giggles with this game. I do recommend this game for older children though. Chelsea didn’t really get the hang of this one but lots of fun.
