Here are a couple suggestions of some of our favorite board books that we have been reading recently. We really enjoy these little books and are excited to add these titles to our library. Chelsea and I really love these little stories and can’t wait to read more books by this author.

A specially adapted board book edition of Oliver Jeffers’ laugh-out-loud classic, Stuck. Floyd gets his kite stuck up a tree. He throws up his shoe to shift it, but that gets stuck too. So he throws up his other shoe and that gets stuck, along with… a ladder, a pot of paint, the kitchen sink, an orang-utan and a whale, amongst other things!  Will Floyd ever get his kite back? A hilarious book with a wonderful surprise ending.

52256666The New York Times bestselling alphabet/story book from the artist of The Day the Crayons Quit is now available in an abridged edition for the littlest learners! The perfect introduction to both the alphabet and to the world of Oliver Jeffers! This clever and funny board book from the #1 bestselling illustrator of The Day the Crayons Quit and creator of Stuck gives center stage to Oliver Jeffers’ whimsical illustrations as it helps parents and toddlers connect through learning and art. A must-have. Praise for Once Upon an Alphabet:An Amazon Best Book of 2014!A Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year!School Library Journal Best Book of the Year!
