Feeling Thankful: Different Smartphone Apps That Extend Our Budget! #GiveThanks #Thanksgiving #LetsSave

I am very thankful for my husband and my family. I really appreciate everything they do for me. I am glad that my husband is there for me even though there are times when we fight and argue. We are always apologizing to each other and letting each other know that they are loved. Even though we have our rough patches we always seem to make it through. Our daughter is very well taken care of. We always make sure that she is well fed and has all of the necessities. I am always trying to make sure that she knows that if there is any thing else that we can give back that it will help other families in need. We always make our budget work and one way or another we always end up getting what ever we may need. Some months are harder than others for us to get by. There are a couple programs and smart phone apps that I use to help us along.

Chelsea and I are already getting our donations ready to go to toy drive. I don’t feel that we will be able to give as much as we did last year but I know that any thing will help. If you live in the Las Vegas area and have a little to give back to the community give to the KLUC 98.5 Toy Drive.

I want to share with all of my readers a couple different ways that helps my family out year round so that we are able to make it each month.

Swagbucks has been a blessing we have managed to save up enough points for $100 in gift cards. We mainly just answer surveys, watch videos, discover new products, search the internet and do online shopping. You are able to earn points that can be redeemed for Paypal and many different gift cards. If you are not a member of Swagbucks (During the month of November you get a bonus 300 Swagbucks after you complete your first Gold Survey and make 300 Swagbucks) (For The month of December if you earn 300 SB by December 31st you will make a bonus of 300SB. On top of that if you spend $25 or more dollars using the Shop and Earn program you will earn an additional 200 SB bonus that is a total of $5): Click Here to Join

Ibotta, Checkout 51 and SavingsStar are smartphone apps that provide rebates for many items you may get at the grocery store. Just yesterday I was able to get $10 from Ibotta for redeem 11 different rebates as well as getting a bonus. I redeemed rebates for buying Milk, Carrots, Zucchini, Bread and Cereal just to name a few.  You get a $10 bonus after you redeem your first rebate: Click Here to Sign Up

When I am doing my grocery shopping I also use Checkout 51, Saving Star, Receipt Hog and MobiSave. My favorite places to do my grocery shopping lately would have to be Walmart, Smiths (Kroger) and Kmart. Since they have rewards programs and coupon programs themselves as well that really helps. There are smartphone applications for each of those stores as well. Kmart is Shop Your Way, Walmart has Savings Catcher and Smiths has Digital Coupons.

What are you thankful for? What programs do you use to help you save and budget? If you already use Swagbucks and Ibotta do you have tips to share so that others can enjoy the benefits of these programs as well?
