Spontaneous Family Trips Needed! #FamilyTime #VisitingWithFamily

Sometimes you need to have spontaneous trips to visit your family or just to get away. We did that exact thing last weekend. My first intention for the weekend was to really catch up on everything that I needed to do around the house and get things caught up here on my blog. Even though I still have not managed to catch up I am glad that we did take the little trip so that we could spend some time with my sister, dad, grandma, niece, and step mom Denise.

img_1659Chelsea really enjoyed every minute of spending time with her cousin Rayna. Its hard since we live in different states for the little cousins to spend time with each other. I know Rayna and Chelsea really enjoy every moment they have together. They play very well with each other. I loved watching the girls run around the yard, pushing each other in the wagon and playing with the Choo Choo Train. I wish that this trip was longer so that it could of lasted longer. It was only a day trip though we did spend the night and go home the next evening.

I loved that I got to spend some quality time with my grandma. I don’t get that many opportunities to go to see her. Its harder for my family to travel that often with 2 dogs and the fact that my husband is almost always working. We normally only go to visit over there about 3 times a year. I am excited that next year will be different since I will have more vacation time allotted to me.

I am looking forward to what adventures we will have next year. I know that I want to be able to share a lot more of our adventures so stay tuned.
