Reading Time with Chelsea: Two Books from Penguin Readers! #ReadingTime #Read #ChildrensBook

I love finding new stories to read to Chelsea. Today were are sharing about 2 books about dogs. These books came at the perfect time with everything that we have been going through. They really have been helping us cheer up.

Chelsea really is a big fan of Animals so these books were definitely her cup of tea. First off we have “Douglas You Need Glasses! by Ged Adamson”!! Chelsea really loved this story she loved to see how this dog needed to be up close to the TV to see and accidently went into the wrong home because of his eye sight. He ended having to go to the eye doctor so that he would have a better life. This dog was told that he had to have glasses. Chelsea and I were laughing throughout this whole story. It shows children that going to the eye doctor is not that bad.

The next story I want to share about is “Pretty Minnie in Hollywood by Danielle Steel”!! This story is just so adorable. Pretty Minnie is a high end pup that has the opportunity to travel with her owners to Hollywood. She packs up her favorite outfits and heads onto the plane. You get to experience her travel adventures with her. Chelsea just lit up when we started reading this story. It kind of hit home for us since we have a small dog like this as well. She is far from high end but she is definitely a sweetheart.

We definitely recommend these two stories to families that love pets.
