Items in the stockings are not necessarily supposed to only be candy. They may be different items. A tradition in my family has always been to wrap the items in our stockings so that we have a bit more to open up. Normally in our family stocking items are always the last items to open. We wanted to share a couple more ideas to fill the stockings with: 

Children’s toothbrushes are a great addition to any stocking. I truly believe on placing items in a child’s stocking that are necessities. So that they are not only getting Toys but things that they use to get ready every day and every night. I love these toothbrushes make kids want to brush their teeth. It has songs that they love and enjoy. I know my daughter is just loving hers.

Cd’s are great for the stocking I know that when I was growing up. I really enjoyed getting Cd’s in my stocking. These are perfect for traveling. So when we get kids cds I tend to have my daughter listen to them in the car.  I love that these are all of the popular songs but mild out so that they are kid friendly.
