Chelsea really enjoys when I read stories to her and I really think that having books that are about the holidays are a great way to make traditions with your kids. Here are a few books that we will be reading these holidays.
The Night Before Christmas: A Brick Story by Clement C. Moore(author) and Amanda Brack (illustrator) is a fresh take on a holiday classic and is perfect for LEGO and Christmas lovers alike. We absolutely adore this story what a way to remake a Christmas Classic. Chelsea really enjoys that it has Lego characters and all of the items are made out of legos.
From the minds of Halloween picture book The Runaway Pumpkin (Sky Pony Press), The Runaway Santa: A Christmas Adventure Story by Anne Margaret Lewis (author) and Aaron Zenz (illustrator) is a sweet and endearing story of relationships, adventure, and following one’s dreams. I love that Mrs Claus follows him as he goes to each location and he doesn’t even know it.
Tough Cookie by Kate Louise (author) and Grace Sandford (illustrator) is the story of a ginger-less gingerbread man who learns an important lesson about being kind and finding happiness through helping others. This is a really cute story. Chelsea has really been enjoying listening to these new Christmas Favorites.
