When I am on the go sometimes I need things to keep my daughter busy. Since she doesn’t have much patience while we wait at the DMV, at the doctor’s office, or even on a long drive. This book gives you over 250 ideas to keep her entertained. Some activities are harder than others so this book is great for kids as old as 10 some maybe even older than that. Activities from puzzles to learning about the states. I know this will be keeping my daughter entertained for years to come. Another thing that makes this book on keeper for me is that it is small enough to stick in my purse, her diaper bag or at the point she uses a backpack it will fit there too.
This book is by Amanda Morin which is an education writer and special education advocate. She is the author the Everything’ Parent’s Guide to Special Education and The Everything’ Kids’ Learning Activities Book. Her work has been featured on the National Center for Learning Disabilities Website.
I really wish something like this was available when I was growing up. Just about every week we had to go on 2 hour drives at least 3 or 4 times a month because of my doctor appointments that I had to go to. I know that my mom had to try to keep my sister and I entertained while she drove to the LA area and back home.
