I really love that this teaches children how to re-purpose things that they may think is trash. With this kit you able to turn a common cereal box into a moving vehicle.  Maker Studio inspires imagination and a love for engineering. In this set featuring winches, you’ll be able to build a tow truck, a jeep, a well and a crane. For each build your given Engineering Challenges – experiment with friction, torque and propulsion as you engineer your solutions. Once you’ve mastered all four builds, get creative and design something that’s all of your own. Go to http://www.thinkfun.com/makerstudio to see all the Maker Studio sets and combine them for more building fun.

I love that it comes with a little booklet to continue challenging yourself to be creative. This is great for ages 7 to adults since there are many small pieces. I know that I learned about this type of science in 9th grade so it would of been great to work with back then.  I always like activities like this as it keeps your mind busy and off of the stresses that may be tormenting your mind. I am constantly thinking about things that just clogged mind and make me feel like I am going crazy. This activity really gets my mind of that and can help me move forward in my day.
