Here is a brief description of each item:

For more than a decade, BBC Home Entertainment, in association with BBC Earth, has released incredible nature programs including the award-winning Planet Earth, Blue Planet and Life. Now, on April 7, 2015 BBC Home Entertainment releases for the first time ever on 3D, three new awe-inspiring series – Planet Dinosaur 3D, Wings 3D, and Tiny Giants 3D – continuing BBC Earth’s dedication to recognize the great wonders of the earth and bringing nature into the home, all filmed with the latest technology and CGI creating an incredible 3D viewing experience. With these fantastic titles joining the ranks, BBC Home Entertainment truly presents the natural world as never seen before.

Directed by Emmy® Award-winner Nigel Paterson and narrated by John Hurt (Doctor Who, the Harry Potter films), Planet Dinosaur 3D, uses the latest CGI and cutting-edge research to reveal the secrets of these newly discovered giants, weaving a dramatic story of survival laced with scientific developments. Planet Dinosaur 3D brings the prehistoric world of history’s most terrifying reptiles to life in jaw-dropping 3D.

Directed by Emmy® Award-nominated John Downer, and narrated by David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch), Wings 3D, a feature-length 3D experience takes viewers on a first-in-flight journey across the world’s most iconic landscapes into the heart of the greatest animal spectacles on Earth: snow geese dash through Monument Valley and New York City, vultures ascend miles above the earth then dive down to huge wildebeest herds below, scarlet macaws race at breakneck speed through the rainforest. Bringing unique, state-of-the-art 3D cameras to barely accessible and highly dangerous places, the filmmakers used revolutionary aerial devices and techniques to fly right alongside birds, creating a new perspective on the beauty and drama of nature. Premiered in theaters across the country on May 16, 2014.

Tiny Giants 3D

Tiny Giants 3D, BBC Earth’s latest adventure, allows viewers to journey to a hidden world and experience the epic adventures of the world’s smallest heroes. The incredibly immersive power of specialist 3D cameras intimately transport viewers into another world to experience the titanic battles these creatures face to survive. Follow the fascinating life stories of a chipmunk in a wild forest and a grasshopper mouse in Arizona’s scorched desert who are both forced to grow up fast when they find themselves on their own for the first time while facing daunting challenges from their miniature perspective. Tiny Giants 3D is narrated by Stephen Fry (The Hobbit films, 24: Live Another Day). Premiered in IMAX theaters across the country on September 20, 2014 and continues to play in select museums.
All three releases will be on sale on April 7, 2015.
