Saturdays and Sundays here at Wilderness Lakes are jam packed with activities planned out. In the morning we went out to take the dogs for a walk so I grabbed some food for the ducks. Lteeny (my chihuahua) and I walked around feeding the ducks. We saw one with a broken leg or deformed leg and even one that has foggy eyes.
There was a swap meet in the morning. It was a lot of jewelry, handmade crafts and even stuff you would see at a yard sale. What a mix. I got Denise a beautiful teapot that has a crocheted covering on it. Picture coming soon. While waiting for the trainride Chelsea wanted to go play on the slide.
At 10am the train rides start. Chelsea really loves the choo choo. It’s 25 cents per person to ride. We went on it twice.
Chelsea really enjoyed the choo choo train. She was tired so we headed back to the trailer for lunch and nap time.
Next on the schedule was Candybar Bingo and the Wildlife Show. Candy bar bingo was fun. All of us won at least a couple times. I won 4 times. The Wildlife show was neat we got to see a alligator, armadillo, porcupine, and chinchilla just to name a few.
When we got back from the show Chelsea had woken up from her nap. Denise was painting. Chelsea wanted to do art too so I pulled out a baggie of stickers and gave her some paper. She just loves sticker art. Kristabella and Chris wanted to play a game so we waited for dad to come back. Later on in the evening we relaxed and watched the ducks, geese and the sunset.
We had to move the trailer because it wasn’t positioned properly. So I had Chris sit still in the chair and watch the ducks and geese for 30 mins straight. I kept telling him he was only at 7 or 8 mins and he kept on sitting. I was trying to keep Chelsea and him busy so that they were not in the way while we moved the trailer. He is only 7 so it was best that he just sit and stay busy while the trailer was moved.
We ended the day with coloring Easter eggs.
What a wonderful day we had. Hope everyone has a Wonderful Easter. We will share again tomorrow.
